FAQs
Are these trainers suitable for running or sports?
No, the Hoff City Dopamine trainers are designed for casual urban wear and do not offer the specific support or cushioning required for athletic performance.
How do I choose the right size?
Refer to the size guide provided by the retailer. These trainers are listed in UK adult sizes. Consider your usual shoe size and check if there are specific recommendations for this model.
Can I wear these trainers in wet weather?
While the leather can be treated for water resistance, they are not fully waterproof. It's advisable to avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain and to dry them thoroughly if they get wet.
What is the material of the outsole?
The outsole is described as lightweight and durable, designed for grip and comfort on urban surfaces. Specific material composition is typically proprietary.
How often should I condition the leather?
Condition the leather every few months, or more often if you notice the material looking dry or if exposed to harsh conditions. This helps maintain its flexibility and appearance.
Do these trainers come in other colors?
This specific model is listed in brown. Please check the product catalog or retailer for availability of other colors or similar models from the Hoff City series.
Troubleshooting
Leather creasing or scuffing.
Minor creases are natural with leather. Use a leather conditioner to maintain suppleness. For scuffs, try a leather-specific cleaner or polish. Avoid storing in cramped spaces.
Reduced grip on the outsole.
Ensure the outsole is clean and free from debris. If the sole appears worn, it may be time to consider replacement or professional resoling if possible.
Discomfort during wear.
Ensure the laces are properly adjusted for a secure but not overly tight fit. Break-in periods for new leather shoes can vary; wear them for short durations initially.
