While designed for a secure fit, the internal volume and lacing system allow for some adjustability. However, individuals with very wide feet may find them snug. Trying them on is recommended.
The GORE-TEX® lining is integrated into the boot. Clean the exterior and interior of the boot with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed. Ensure the boots are thoroughly dried afterwards.
The FlexPlate™ provides a full-length rock plate that protects your feet from sharp objects on the trail. It also enhances torsional rigidity for stability and allows for forefoot flexibility during the natural gait cycle.
Yes, their comfortable cushioning and supportive design make them suitable for casual wear, especially in outdoor or active environments, though their primary design is for hiking.
We recommend trying the boots on with the type of socks you typically wear for hiking. Ensure there is enough room in the toe box for comfort during descents and that the heel is securely held to prevent slippage.
The bellows tongue is attached at the sides and helps to prevent water, dirt, and debris from entering the boot, keeping your feet cleaner and drier on the trail.
The Cleansport NXT™ treatment is designed to be long-lasting, working naturally to inhibit the growth of odor-causing bacteria. Proper care and airing out the boots will help maintain its effectiveness.
Ensure laces are tightened properly to prevent water ingress. Check for damage to the GORE-TEX® membrane or excessive wear. Clean the boots as per care instructions.
Clean the Vibram® TC5+ outsole to remove mud or debris that can impair grip. Ensure the boot is not excessively worn.
Ensure you are wearing appropriate hiking socks. Adjust lacing for a better fit. Break in the boots on shorter walks before undertaking long hikes.
Utilize the Cleansport NXT™ treatment by airing out the boots after use. Hand wash with mild soap and water if necessary, and ensure thorough drying.
These boots require no specific setup; they are ready for use straight out of the box. Their primary compatibility is with outdoor multi-sport activities. For care, clean the boots after use with a damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Avoid harsh detergents. Allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources. For GORE-TEX® membrane care, follow manufacturer guidelines to maintain waterproofing properties. Periodically check the laces and eyelets for wear and tear.
