FAQs
Is this shower curtain waterproof or water-resistant?
The Inhousolu Fabric Shower Curtain is water-resistant due to its high-density woven fabric with a lotus leaf water-repellent coating. Water beads slide off quickly, but it is not fully waterproof. A separate liner is recommended for complete waterproofing.
How do I clean the shower curtain?
You can machine wash the curtain in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low heat or hang to air dry. Avoid using bleach.
What are the dimensions of the shower curtain?
The shower curtain measures 72 inches wide by 72 inches high (184 x 184 cm).
Does it come with hooks?
Yes, the package includes 14 rust-resistant metal hooks, which is two more than the standard number of grommets.
What material is the shower curtain made of?
It is made of 100% polyester with a 230 GSM (Grams per Square Meter) weight, giving it a luxurious and thick feel.
Can I use this curtain without a liner?
You can use it without a liner, but for optimal dryness and to prevent water from seeping through, using a separate waterproof liner is advisable, especially if you have a tub/shower combination.
What does '230 GSM' mean?
GSM stands for Grams per Square Meter, which is a measure of fabric density and weight. A higher GSM, like 230, indicates a thicker, heavier, and more luxurious fabric.
Troubleshooting
Water seeping through the fabric
Ensure the fabric's water-repellent coating is intact. For maximum protection, consider using a separate waterproof liner behind the fabric curtain.
Curtain not hanging straight or blowing inwards
Verify that the weighted hem is functioning correctly. Ensure the curtain is fully extended and that the hooks are evenly distributed along the rod.
Hooks are difficult to attach or remove
Gently slide the hooks along the shower rod. If they are stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant can be applied to the rod.
Mildew or stains appearing on the curtain
Wash the curtain according to the care instructions (machine wash cold, gentle cycle). Ensure the curtain dries completely between uses.
