FAQs
What material is the shower curtain made of?
The shower curtain is made of 100% high-density polyester fabric with a 230 GSM weight.
How do I clean the shower curtain?
It is machine washable. Use cold water on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Tumble dry on low or air dry.
Does it come with hooks?
Yes, it includes 14 rust-resistant metal hooks. This is two more than the 12 grommets on the curtain.
What are the dimensions of the shower curtain?
The dimensions are 72 inches wide by 72 inches high (184 x 184 cm).
Is the shower curtain truly waterproof?
It features a water-resistant coating that repels water effectively. For best results, ensure good bathroom ventilation and avoid prolonged soaking.
Can I use this curtain in a hotel?
Yes, its durable construction and elegant design make it suitable for both home and hotel use.
What does 'GSM' mean?
GSM stands for 'Grams per Square Meter,' which is a measure of fabric density and weight. A higher GSM, like the 230 GSM of this curtain, generally indicates a heavier, more luxurious, and durable fabric.
Troubleshooting
Curtain does not hang straight.
Ensure the weighted hem is properly positioned at the bottom. If the issue persists, check that the curtain rod is level.
Water is not beading effectively after some use.
Wipe the curtain with a damp cloth to remove any soap residue. For significant reduction in water repellency, a machine wash may be required.
Metal hooks appear to be showing signs of rust.
While rust-resistant, extreme moisture can eventually affect metal. Ensure the bathroom is adequately ventilated. If rust appears, gently clean with a soft brush and mild abrasive, then dry thoroughly.
Wrinkles from packaging are noticeable.
Hang the curtain in the bathroom after unpacking. The steam from showers should help release minor wrinkles. For stubborn creases, iron on a low setting.
