Setup, Compatibility & Care
Building the Hot Rod requires a clean workspace and good lighting. Before assembly, gently remove the parts from the wooden sheets. If a piece feels tight during the plug-in process, use the provided sandpaper to lightly smooth the edges for a better fit. Avoid forcing pieces together to prevent snapping the wood. To care for your model, keep it away from extreme humidity, as wood can expand and affect the movement of the gears. If the pull-back movement slows over time, inspect the rubber bands for fatigue and replace them if necessary to maintain consistent performance.
