Is the handle compatible with other net heads?

The spreader block follows standard fitting sizes, though it is optimized for use with the provided Eos-X 42-inch arms.

Can I replace the mesh?

Is the handle one piece or two piece?

The handle provided is a 6ft two-piece design for easier transportation.

Does it come with a storage bag?

Yes, a dedicated net bag is included with every purchase.

Is the mesh safe for fish?

Yes, the soft olive green mesh is specifically chosen to be gentle on fish scales and fins.

Troubleshooting

Handle sections are stuck together

Gently clean the male joint with a dry cloth and ensure there is no grit or sand present before re-assembling.

Spreader block feels loose

Check the internal bolts of the die-cast block and ensure they are tightened, though do not overtighten to avoid stripping the thread.

Mesh is catching on the spreader block

Ensure the mesh is evenly distributed around the arms and not tangled in the block during initial assembly.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Increased carbon content reduces unwanted handle flex
Stiff pole allows for precise movement in water
Soft olive green mesh is gentle on fish
Excellent aesthetic match for the EOS-X rod range
Includes a dedicated storage bag

Cons

Two-piece handle takes longer to assemble than one-piece models
42-inch size may be bulky for very tight stalking swims
Requires careful joint maintenance to prevent sticking over time

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To set up, connect the two sections of the carbon handle until they click into place securely. Insert the two spreader block arms into the aluminium block, then thread the mesh over the arms. To ensure longevity, always rinse the mesh in fresh water after use, especially if used in silty or brackish environments, to prevent odor and material degradation. Store the net in the provided bag only when completely dry to prevent rot. Periodically check the spreader block for debris that may prevent the arms from seating properly.
