The Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 is a high-performance racing trainer designed for adult male runners seeking maximum speed and energy efficiency during intense workouts and race days. By combining super-critical foam technology with a specialized carbon plate, it offers an incredibly responsive ride that propels you forward; however, its aggressive design is best suited for performance-oriented running rather than casual, slow-paced daily training.

Yes, it is designed for runners with a neutral gait.
The shoe features an 8mm drop.
While durable, they are optimized for speed and race efforts. Most runners reserve them for faster-paced workouts.
Use a soft brush and mild soap with lukewarm water. Air dry away from direct sunlight.
The carbon plate provides significant rigidity to facilitate propulsion, which is a core feature of high-performance racing shoes.
Try the 'runner's loop' or heel-lock lacing method to secure the ankle collar against your foot.
The carbon plate is rigid; allow for a break-in period of 20-30 miles to let the foam and your feet adapt to the geometry.
After running on wet or gravel roads, wipe the PWRTRAC outsole with a damp cloth to maintain optimal grip.
The Endorphin Pro 5 is a neutral road running trainer. To ensure longevity, avoid using these shoes on technical trails, as the foam is tuned for smooth pavement and road surfaces. For care, keep the shoes away from extreme heat sources like radiators or tumble dryers, as this can degrade the midsole foam properties. If they become wet, stuff them with newspaper and let them air dry in a cool, ventilated area. Ensure you have the correct size, as a racing fit should feel snug but not restrictive around the midfoot.
