The Saucony Endorphin Pro 5 is a specialized racing trainer designed for adult runners who demand maximum speed and responsiveness during road competitions. By fusing PWRRUN PB and Super Critical PWRRUN HG foams with a segmented carbon plate, the shoe delivers exceptional energy return and explosive propulsion; however, it is specifically optimized for race-day efficiency rather than casual daily training or slow-recovery miles.

While it can be used for workouts, it is designed as a racing shoe. Using it for every run may reduce the longevity of the carbon plate and foam.
The Endorphin Pro 5 features an 8mm drop.
No, these are engineered specifically for road racing and performance on paved surfaces.
The segmented carbon plate provides structural rigidity and works with the foam to snap back, creating an explosive energy return.
Racing shoes typically have a lower mileage lifespan than standard trainers, generally lasting between 200-400 miles depending on usage and gait.
This is a neutral racing shoe and does not contain specialized medial posting for overpronation.
Ensure the shoe is laced snugly to lock in the midfoot, and consider using a runner's knot to secure the heel.
Wipe the midsole with a damp microfiber cloth. Do not soak the shoes as this can damage the structural foam.
To ensure the longevity of your Endorphin Pro 5, proper care is essential. Since this is a high-performance racing shoe, it should not be machine washed or tumble dried. If they become dirty after a race, clean them manually using a soft brush, warm water, and a mild detergent. Air dry them in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources to prevent the foam from degrading or the adhesives from weakening. Ensure you select the correct size (e.g., UK 9) based on your standard running shoe fit. Store the shoes in a cool, dry place to maintain the integrity of the carbon plate and the responsive foam properties.
