The Belstaff Compound Cardigan is designed for the modern adult male seeking a versatile, high-performance mid-layer that bridges the gap between sophisticated knitwear and technical insulation. Utilizing a premium down-fill blend, this piece offers exceptional warmth-to-weight performance, making it an ideal choice for transitional weather or layering under heavier outerwear. Please note that while it offers superior insulation, the material requires specific care to maintain its loft and down distribution over time.

No, the Compound Cardigan is designed for insulation and is not a waterproof garment.
We recommend following the specific care tag instructions, as most down-filled garments require professional cleaning to protect the fill.
Hang it in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area. Avoid storing it compressed in tight drawers for long periods.
The cardigan is designed for a standard adult fit. Please refer to our sizing guide if you prefer a looser layering fit.
Yes, its low-bulk, high-warmth design makes it an excellent choice for layering under leather or canvas outerwear.
Gently pull the feather back from the inside rather than pulling it out, then rub the fabric to reseal the weave.
Tumble dry the garment on a low-heat setting with clean tennis balls to redistribute and fluff the down filling.
To ensure your Belstaff Compound Cardigan maintains its performance, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy moisture. As a garment featuring merino wool and down insulation, it is best kept in a cool, dry place. For cleaning, follow the care label instructions precisely; typically, professional dry cleaning or professional down-specific laundering is recommended to prevent the down from clumping. When not in use for long periods, hang the garment in a breathable garment bag rather than compressing it in a tight space to ensure the insulation retains its original loft.
