The Belstaff Compound Cardigan is a premium hybrid layer designed for the modern man who values both aesthetic appeal and practical warmth. Featuring a high-quality blend of Merino wool and an insulated down core, this piece offers superior thermal regulation and a lightweight feel, making it an ideal choice for transitional weather or as an insulating mid-layer under a heavier coat. While it provides exceptional warmth-to-weight ratio, users should note that the specialized down construction requires careful maintenance compared to standard knitwear.

No, it is highly recommended to have this garment professionally dry-cleaned to preserve the down fill and the wool knit.
While it is a great layer, it is not waterproof. If it gets soaked, the down will lose its insulating properties, so it should be worn under a waterproof shell in wet conditions.
Fill power measures the loft or 'fluffiness' of down. A rating of 750 indicates high-quality, high-loft down that provides excellent warmth for its weight.
The cardigan uses high-quality Merino wool, which is known for its fine fibers and soft, non-itchy texture against the skin.
Store it folded in a cool, dry place to prevent the fabric from stretching and to maintain the structure of the garment.
This is normal for high-quality down garments. Gently pull the feather back into the piece from the inside rather than pulling it through the fabric.
Gently shake the garment to redistribute the down fill and allow it to sit in a well-ventilated area to restore loft.
To ensure the longevity of your Belstaff Compound Cardigan, avoid machine washing with standard detergents. Because the piece contains natural down, it is best to have it professionally dry-cleaned to protect the integrity of the feathers. When not in use, store the cardigan in a cool, dry place and avoid hanging it for long periods if it stretches the knit fibers—folding is recommended. It pairs best with slim-fit denim or tailored trousers for a classic, refined look.
