Mountain Warehouse Childrens/Kids Polar Zone Printed Jacket & Salopettes Set - Grey

This set is designed for children, specifically within 'kids' age groups, with various sizes available for different ages.

No, the set is water-resistant, meaning it can repel water and protect against light rain or splashes. It is not designed to be fully waterproof for prolonged immersion or heavy downpours.

You can machine wash the set at 40°C with similar colours. Avoid bleaching, ironing, and dry cleaning. Tumble dry on a low heat setting.

PFC (perfluorinated chemicals) are often used in water-repellent finishes. 'PFC Free' means that this product uses alternative, more environmentally friendly treatments to achieve its water-resistant properties.

DWR stands for Durable Water Repellent. This finish on the fabric causes water to bead up and roll off the surface, helping to keep the garment dry in light rain and preventing the outer fabric from becoming saturated.

The set provides good insulation and a fleece lining, making it suitable for cooler weather. For extremely cold conditions, consider layering additional thermal clothing underneath.

Refer to the sizing guide provided by Mountain Warehouse for their children's apparel. The 'snug fit' design suggests choosing a size that allows for comfortable movement without being too baggy.

Ensure the stormflap is not caught in the zipper. Gently pull the fabric away from the zipper teeth and try again. You can also try applying a small amount of graphite (from a pencil) to the zipper teeth.

While the set is water-resistant, prolonged exposure to heavy rain may result in some moisture penetration. Ensure all zippers and fastenings are fully closed. For heavier conditions, consider a fully waterproof outer layer.

Ensure the garment is tumble dried on a low heat setting. Avoid high heat, which can damage the fleece. Gently brush the fleece after drying if needed.
