FAQs
What is the capacity of the bathroom bin?
The bathroom bin has a 3-litre capacity, making it ideal for small, daily bathroom waste.
Is the bin suitable for use on wet bathroom floors?
The bin is durable, but to prolong the life of the powder-coated finish and prevent potential rust, it is recommended to keep it on a dry surface.
Do I need to replace the antibacterial brush head?
While the bristles are treated with an antibacterial agent, we recommend replacing the brush periodically based on your usage frequency to maintain maximum hygiene.
Can the bin lid be left open?
Yes, the pedal-operated mechanism holds the lid open for as long as your foot is pressing the pedal.
What material is the brush head made of?
The brush head consists of flexible, non-scratch synthetic bristles treated with an antibacterial coating.
Does the set come in other colors?
This specific model is finished in a neutral grey color family.
Troubleshooting
The toilet brush holder lid is sticking
Ensure the brush handle is aligned vertically when inserted, as the weight of the handle is designed to actuate the lid mechanism.
Bin lid is not closing softly
Check the hinge mechanism for any debris or obstructions and ensure the lid is properly seated on the frame.
Interior bucket is difficult to remove
Lift the inner bucket vertically using the built-in handle; if it catches, check for build-up around the rim and clean as necessary.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Coordinated set saves space and looks tidy
- Soft-close lid mechanism reduces noise
- Antibacterial bristles improve bathroom hygiene
- Fingerprint-resistant powder coating is easy to clean
- Hands-free pedal bin keeps hands clean
Cons
- Small 3L capacity requires frequent emptying
- Not suitable for heavy-duty household waste
- Requires specific vertical clearance for brush handle operation
Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup is straightforward: simply place the bin and the brush holder in your desired location. Ensure the brush holder has enough overhead clearance to allow the automatic lid mechanism to actuate when removing the handle. To keep the set looking new, wipe the powder-coated exterior with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid harsh abrasive chemicals that might damage the finish. The inner bucket of the bin should be washed occasionally with warm soapy water and dried completely before reinsertion. For the toilet brush, rinse the head thoroughly after use and ensure it is free of excess water before replacing it into the holder to maintain a fresh, dry environment inside the canister.
