Product Information

Full details

The Havaianas Baby Brasil Logo Flip Flops are designed specifically for infants and toddlers who need a secure yet comfortable footwear option for summer outings. These sandals provide the iconic durability and non-slip performance of classic Havaianas in a miniaturized form, featuring an elastic backstrap to keep them firmly on little feet. While they are exceptionally lightweight and water-resistant, parents should note that the sizing is tailored to baby and toddler feet, meaning they will eventually need to be replaced as the child grows.

FAQs

Are these sandals machine washable?

It is recommended to hand wash them with mild soap and water to preserve the integrity of the rubber and the elastic strap.

Can my baby wear these in the ocean?

Yes, they are water-resistant. Just be sure to rinse them with fresh water afterward to remove salt and sand.

What is the material composition?

They are made from high-quality, durable, and flexible rubber.

Will the elastic strap stretch out over time?

The strap is designed for durability, but like any elastic component, it may lose some tension after extensive use.

Are these suitable for first-time walkers?

The non-slip sole and secure backstrap make them a great choice for stability, though they are primarily intended for casual summer wear.

How do I choose the right size?

Check the UK size guide provided and compare it to your child's foot length, leaving a small buffer for comfort.

Troubleshooting

Sandal feels tight on the child's foot

Ensure the elastic heel strap is correctly positioned; if still tight, the child may have outgrown the current size.

Dirt stuck in the rice grain footbed

Use a soft brush or a damp cloth to gently scrub the texture of the footbed under running water.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Secure fit with elastic heel strap
Durable and high-quality rubber material
Non-slip sole for added safety
Water-resistant and quick-drying
Lightweight design perfect for toddlers

Cons

Not suitable for wide or very high-instep feet
Requires frequent replacement as toddlers grow
Limited to warm-weather or indoor use

Setup, Compatibility & Care

No assembly is required for these sandals; they are ready to wear immediately. To ensure longevity, rinse the flip-flops with fresh water after exposure to salt water or chlorinated pool water to remove grit and chemicals. Allow them to air dry in a shaded area rather than leaving them in direct, intense sunlight for prolonged periods, which can potentially warp the rubber. If the straps become dirty, a soft cloth with mild soap and water is sufficient for cleaning. Always double-check that the size corresponds to the current foot length of your child, allowing for slight room for movement and comfort.
