FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
No, these are leisure trainers designed for casual everyday wear, not for high-impact running or intense athletic activities.
Can I put these in the washing machine?
It is generally recommended to clean them by hand to preserve the integrity of the materials and the adhesive used in the soles.
Does the Hypnotic range offer good arch support?
The trainers provide standard support for daily leisure activities, but they do not feature specialized orthotic arch support.
How do I ensure I get the right size?
Puma sizing is standard; check your existing footwear size or use a measuring tool to ensure the UK size fits comfortably with a small amount of room for your toes.
Are these shoes water-resistant?
They are made of standard materials that are not waterproof; it is best to avoid wearing them in heavy rain or deep puddles.
Troubleshooting
Laces coming undone frequently
Consider double-knotting the laces or ensuring they are pulled evenly across the eyelets to maintain tension.
Surface scuffs on the upper
Gently rub the area with a specialized fabric cleaner or a damp cloth; avoid abrasive scrubbing brushes.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your Puma Hypnotic Trainers maintain their appearance, follow these simple care steps:
- Cleaning: Use a soft brush to remove loose dirt or debris from the outsole. For the upper material, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if needed.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent color fading and material degradation.
- Moisture: If the trainers get wet, remove the laces and stuff the interior with newspaper to absorb moisture and maintain shape while air drying. Avoid direct heat sources like heaters or radiators.
- Fit: The classic lace-up system allows you to adjust the tension across the midfoot; ensure you do not overtighten, which could restrict circulation.
