Introducing the Crankbrothers Mallet BOA cycling shoes, new for 2021 and designed to perfectly complement Mallet pedals for trail riding. These shoes feature an extended 5mm track length for a lower cleat position, enhancing control and stability during aggressive descents. The upper boasts a BOA Fit System and strap for precise micro-adjustments, a lace pocket for a clean look, and ventilated windows with perforated mesh for optimal breathability. A padded tongue offers protection, while TPU-reinforced areas enhance durability and abrasion resistance. Heel dots ensure a superior grip and heel hold, and hidden eyelets contribute to a clean design. The Match Box outsole is optimized for all MTB pedals, offering race zone cleat placement for control and stability. A ramp facilitates easy clip-in/clip-out and mud clearance. They come with a pre-installed Crankbrothers match shim and cleat, ready for adjustment and riding, or can be used with any SPD cleat by removing the grey shim. The MC1 mid-friction compound ensures easy pedal exit, and directional, angled toe/heel lugs provide traction for hiking. A ramped toe enhances walkability, and a stiff shank ensures efficient power transfer. The cushioned EVA midsole absorbs shock. Sizing is based on a USA last, so select your UK shoe size. These shoes are designed to run true to size and are available in UK sizes 4-13, with half sizes from 5.5-11.5.
