The Jones Bootmaker Kaiya Boots are designed for adult women seeking a stylish yet functional footwear solution for colder weather. Crafted from Leather Working Group-certified leather, these chunky Chelsea boots offer a superior blend of warmth and traction with their rugged outsole and insulated lining. While they provide excellent comfort for winter transitions, potential owners should note that the chunky sole profile creates a specific aesthetic that may require breaking in the leather gussets for optimal flexibility.

They are crafted from leather which offers natural water resistance, but they are not fully waterproof. It is recommended to use a water-repellent spray for added protection.
These boots adhere to standard UK sizing. If you plan to wear thick winter socks, you may want to consider your standard size or slightly up depending on your personal comfort preference.
Yes, the boots are made using leather from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group, which audits for environmental performance and sustainable practices.
The insoles are designed for comfort and durability; they are not intended to be removed for standard daily maintenance.
Use a stiff-bristled brush or a damp cloth to clear any mud or debris from the deep treads to maintain maximum grip.
Gently flex the gusset area manually or wear thick socks during the first few uses to help the material conform to your ankle shape.
Use a shoehorn to help glide your heel into the boot, which preserves the shape of the back counter and makes entry smoother.
Use a matching brown shoe polish or leather conditioner to buff out minor abrasions and restore the surface finish.
To ensure your Kaiya boots remain in peak condition, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack. Before wearing them in wet conditions, it is recommended to apply a high-quality leather protector spray to enhance water resistance. Cleaning should be done with a soft, dry brush to remove loose dirt from the welt and sole. For the leather upper, use a specialized leather cream to maintain suppleness. If the boots become damp, allow them to air dry naturally; never place them on a radiator or near an active fire.
