While the leather is durable and protective against light rain, they are not fully waterproof and should not be submerged in deep water.
Wipe with a soft, slightly damp cloth to remove surface dirt, then apply a leather-specific conditioner or cream.
They generally follow standard UK sizing, though the pointed toe may make the fit feel narrower than round-toe designs.
These boots are designed for style and urban wear; they offer reasonable comfort for daily commuting but are not specifically engineered for long-distance hiking.
The upper is constructed from genuine smooth leather.
Leather footwear often requires a short 'break-in' period; wear them for short durations indoors initially to allow the material to soften.
Use a high-quality neutral or black leather cream and buff with a soft cloth to restore the natural lustre.
Use a shoehorn to help slide the heel past the back of the boot; ensure the elastic side panels are fully stretched while inserting the foot.
To ensure your Forget-Me-Not boots remain in peak condition, store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use. Since they are crafted from genuine leather, it is advisable to use a shoe tree to maintain their structural integrity and prevent creases from setting into the leather. Clean the surface regularly using a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and follow up with a quality leather conditioner or black shoe polish to keep the material hydrated and vibrant. We recommend using a shoehorn when putting them on to protect the back heel counter from collapsing over time.
