FAQs

Are these shoes suitable for athletic performance?

While they are comfortable for walking and casual wear, they are primarily designed as fashion trainers and not for high-intensity sports.

How do I clean the mesh panels?

Use a damp cloth with mild soap to gently spot-clean the mesh, avoiding the suede areas.

Is the sizing true to size?

Yes, they generally fit true to the standard UK adult sizing provided.

Can I wear these in the rain?

It is not recommended. Suede can be damaged by water, so it is best to avoid wet weather or use a heavy-duty waterproof spray.

Does the platform sole provide good stability?

The platform sole is wide and features a chevron grip, which provides a stable base for standard walking activities.

Troubleshooting

Difficulty maintaining suede appearance

Use a specialized suede brush to regularly lift fibers and a suede eraser for localized dirt spots.

Foot feels slightly loose despite lacing

Ensure the tongue is properly centered and consider a heel-lock lacing technique to better secure the foot against the padded collar.

Pros and Cons

Pros

High-fashion chunky aesthetic
Padded collar for superior ankle support
Breathable mesh keeps feet comfortable
Durable traction provided by chevron-patterned sole

Cons

Suede material is sensitive to water and stains
Bulkier profile may not suit minimalists
Requires professional care for deep cleaning

Setup, Compatibility & Care

For the best fit, ensure the laces are adjusted to your specific foot width without overtightening, as the padded collar already provides a snug hold around the ankle. Because these are suede trainers, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific protective spray before their first use to guard against light stains and dirt. If the shoes become dusty, use a soft-bristled brush to gently remove debris. Avoid washing them in a machine or soaking them in water, as this can degrade the suede texture and compromise the adhesive integrity of the chunky sole.
