Setup, Compatibility & Care Instructions
Setup:
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded through the eyelets and secured to achieve a snug, comfortable fit. Adjust the tightness to your preference, ensuring the boot feels secure without restricting circulation.
- Tongue Adjustment: The floating tongue is designed for easy step-in. Once on, the foldover tongue with its strap should be secured to create a clean striking surface.
Compatibility:
These boots are designed for Firm Ground (FG) and Multi-Ground (MG) surfaces. This typically includes:
- Natural grass pitches (slightly damp to firm).
- Newer generation artificial grass pitches.
They are not recommended for extremely soft, muddy pitches (often requiring SG - Soft Ground boots) or hard, abrasive artificial surfaces (which may require specific AG - Artificial Ground or turf shoes).
Care:
- Cleaning: After use, remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or a dry cloth. For tougher grime, use a damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Stuff the boots with paper or a dry cloth to absorb moisture and help them retain their shape. Allow them to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a shoe bag, to protect them from dust and prevent damage.
