Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup:
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded through all eyelets for a secure fit. Adjust tightness based on personal preference and comfort, ensuring the boot feels snug without restricting circulation.
- Tongue Adjustment: For the fold-over tongue, position it comfortably against the foot and secure it with the integrated strap. Ensure it lies flat to create a clean striking area.
Compatibility:
The FG/MG (Firm Ground/Multi-Ground) soleplate is designed for use on:
- Firm Natural Grass: Traditional well-maintained grass pitches.
- Artificial Grass: Modern artificial turf pitches.
It is not recommended for use on hard surfaces like concrete or indoor courts, as this can damage the studs and compromise performance and safety.
Care:
- Cleaning: After each use, remove excess dirt and mud with a soft brush or damp cloth. Avoid using harsh detergents or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them near direct heat sources like radiators or in direct sunlight, as this can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag, to maintain their shape and prevent odor buildup.
- Stud Care: Regularly check studs for wear and tear. Replace any damaged or excessively worn studs if possible, or consider replacing the boots if stud damage is significant.
