How do I clean the board once installed?

Maintenance is simple; just wipe the surface with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh or abrasive chemical cleaners.

Can I use this for internal window reveals?

Troubleshooting

Board is difficult to cut cleanly

Ensure you are using a fine-tooth saw and steady, consistent pressure to prevent jagged edges on the uPVC foam core.

Adhesive is not bonding well

Verify that the mounting surface is free of dust, grease, and moisture before applying the uPVC-specific adhesive.

Visible gaps between boards

Use a low-modulus sealant to fill small gaps or ensure that your cuts are perfectly square for a tighter fit between adjoining lengths.

Pros and Cons

Pros

No painting or sealing required
Easy to cut with standard fine-tooth saws
Provides a clean, professional aesthetic for rooflines
Highly versatile for both interior and exterior use
Resistant to weather and environmental degradation

Cons

Fixed width of 150mm may not suit every gap size
Requires careful measurement to avoid visible gaps
White finish can show dirt over time, though it cleans easily

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install, ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry. Use a fine-tooth saw to cut the board to your specific length requirements. For fixing, you can use high-quality uPVC-compatible adhesives, low-modulus sealants, or discreet panel pins depending on the specific application substrate. To maintain the board, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners that might scratch the smooth surface. If installing externally, ensure that the board is adequately supported by rafters or structural backing to prevent sagging.
