The Freefoam 100mm Fascia Capping Board (FW100) is a versatile solution designed primarily for homeowners and contractors looking to refurbish existing timber fascias or window boards. Its core strength lies in its thin 10mm profile, which allows for a clean, maintenance-free finish over weathered wood without requiring complete removal of the original structure. While it provides excellent protection and a modern aesthetic, users must note that it requires a solid, sound timber backing board for support, making it unsuitable for direct structural installation without a substrate.

No, Freefoam boards come with a finished surface that requires no painting and is designed to remain white for years.
Ensure that the fixing centers do not exceed 600mm, as excessive spacing causes the material to flex.
Use color-matched Polytop nails to ensure the heads blend into the white finish of the board.
Check the underlying timber for debris or protrusions that may be preventing a tight fit and remove any obstructions.
For optimal installation of the white 100mm board, always ensure the substrate is dry, clean, and level. When securing the board, use 2 x 50mm Polytop Nails at every fixing point. To maintain structural integrity, fixings must be spaced no further than 600mm apart; a full 5-meter length typically requires 18 nails to ensure a secure, flush finish. To clean, simply wipe down with a soft cloth and mild soapy water; avoid using abrasive chemicals or solvent-based cleaners that could damage the UV-stabilized surface finish.
