Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup: The bike arrives mostly assembled, but professional final setup by a qualified bicycle mechanic is recommended. This includes precise adjustment of the drivetrain, brakes, saddle height, and handlebar position to match rider biomechanics. Ensure all bolts are torqued to manufacturer specifications.
Compatibility: The bike is designed around specific component standards, including electronic shifting and hydraulic disc brakes. Ensure any aftermarket accessories or replacement parts are compatible with these systems. The C:68X frame is UCI compliant.
Care:
- Cleaning: Regularly clean the frame, drivetrain, and wheels with mild soap and water. Avoid high-pressure washing, especially near bearings.
- Drivetrain Maintenance: Keep the chain clean and lubricated. Periodically check the derailleur alignment and adjust as needed.
- Brake Care: Inspect brake pads for wear and clean rotors with isopropyl alcohol if contaminated. Ensure hydraulic brake systems are free from leaks.
- Storage: Store the bike in a dry, sheltered environment. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
