E-Tech Engine Enamel Paint - 250ml. This high-quality, long-lasting gloss paint is specially formulated with a ceramic resin to withstand temperatures up to 250°C, making it ideal for use on most engine parts and components. It is perfect for painting engine blocks, valves, rocker covers, gear casings, and many other components and brackets. The paint offers a durable, chip and crack-resistant finish that is also resistant to oil, engine additives, chemicals, road salt, and weathering. It features a high pigment content for excellent colour retention and is quick drying with a hard, long-lasting finish. For best results, ensure the surface and paint are at room temperature (approx. 17°C to 21°C) and apply in a warm, dry, dust-free area. Preparation involves removing loose dirt and rust with a steel brush, followed by thorough cleaning with a degreaser to remove all traces of silicone, oil, dirt, and grease. Mask off any areas not intended for painting. The surface must be completely dry and clean before application. For aluminium, rusty, and smooth surfaces, proper etching is required using E-TECH Etch Primer (Part Number: ER00112). The 250ml tin is re-sealable, allowing for repairs and touch-ups. Supplied in a 250ml re-sealable tin.
