Product Information
Full details
The Nike Air Rift trainers are designed for women who seek a fusion of unconventional style and ergonomic comfort for daily wear. Their most defining benefit is the signature split-toe construction, which provides a natural, flexible feel during movement; however, users should note that the unique design may require a brief adjustment period for those accustomed to traditional closed-toe sneakers.

FAQs
Can I wear normal socks with these?
Standard socks will not work due to the split-toe design. You will need to use split-toe specific socks or go barefoot.
Are these suitable for heavy gym lifting?
While comfortable for walking, they are designed as lifestyle trainers and do not provide the lateral support needed for heavy weightlifting.
How do I determine my size?
The Air Rift generally fits true to size, but because of the adjustable straps, you have some flexibility to accommodate slightly wider feet.
Can these be worn in wet conditions?
The materials are not waterproof; they are best kept dry to maintain the integrity of the cushioning and fabric.
How should I clean the interior?
Use a light cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution to gently wipe the footbed, then air dry completely.
Troubleshooting
Straps feel loose after prolonged walking
Re-adjust the tension on the midfoot strap to ensure a secure anchor point before continuing.
Discomfort between the toes
Ensure you are wearing appropriate split-toe socks to prevent friction or irritation against the divider.
Pros and Cons
Pros
- Distinctive, fashion-forward visual style
- Excellent flexibility due to the split-toe design
- Adjustable straps allow for a personalized fit
- Lightweight construction minimizes foot fatigue
Cons
- Split-toe design requires specific socks or barefoot wear
- Unconventional look may not suit all fashion preferences
- Provides less structural support than traditional heavy-duty trainers
Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the best experience, wear your Air Rifts with split-toe socks or go barefoot if the interior lining allows for comfort. To adjust the fit, simply loosen the midfoot and heel straps, position your foot comfortably in the footbed, and tighten the straps until you feel a secure yet pressure-free hold. For care, wipe down the exterior with a soft, damp cloth to remove surface dirt. Avoid machine washing or submerging the shoes in water, as this can degrade the adhesive and cushioning properties. Allow them to air dry in a cool, shaded area away from direct heat sources.
