Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure the longevity of your Oita sandals, follow these essential maintenance guidelines. Since the upper is made of premium suede, it is highly recommended to apply a suede-specific protective spray before your first wear to repel dirt and moisture. If the suede becomes dirty, use a soft suede brush to gently lift debris. Avoid exposing the cork-and-rubber sole to extreme heat or prolonged submersion in water, as this can degrade the natural adhesives. To break them in, wear them for short periods around the house before taking them on long walks to allow the footbed to adapt to your gait.
