Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Loosen the laces completely before putting on the boots. The mid-cut knit collar will provide a snug feel, but ensure your foot slides in comfortably.
- Fit: Once your foot is in, pull the laces evenly to achieve a secure, personalized fit. Avoid over-tightening, which can restrict blood flow, or under-tightening, which can lead to instability.
- Break-in: Like all new football boots, these may require a short break-in period. Wear them for light training sessions or short periods initially to allow them to mold to your foot shape.
Compatibility
- Surface: Exclusively designed for Soft Ground (SG) natural grass pitches. The metal studs are specifically for penetrating wet, soft turf.
- User: Adult male players. Available in various UK sizes.
- Avoid: Using these boots on artificial grass (AG), firm ground (FG), or hard ground (HG) surfaces. This can damage the studs, reduce performance, and potentially cause injury.
Care Instructions
Proper care extends the lifespan and maintains the performance of your boots:
- Cleaning after use: Immediately after each game or training, remove excess mud and dirt. Use a soft brush or cloth and lukewarm water. Avoid harsh detergents.
- Stud Care: Check metal studs for any damage or looseness. If replaceable, ensure they are tightened or replaced as needed. Clean mud from around the studs.
- Drying: *Air dry* your boots naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or tumble dryers, as high heat can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store your boots in a cool, dry place, ideally in a boot bag to protect them from dust and damage. Do not store them in sealed plastic bags for extended periods, as this can trap moisture.
- Deodorizing: If needed, use shoe deodorizers or stuff with newspaper to absorb moisture and odors.
