Yes, the Gabor Shari boots feature removable insoles specifically designed to allow for the insertion of custom orthotics.
Yes, these boots are built on a UK D-width fitting, which is a wider profile designed to provide extra space and comfort.
Wipe with a soft cloth to remove dust and apply a leather conditioner or cream suitable for red leather to maintain its hydration and color.
The heel height is 4.5cm, providing a subtle lift without compromising on walking stability.
Yes, the upper of the Gabor Shari boots is constructed from premium leather.
While leather is resilient, it is recommended to use a protective leather waterproofing spray if you anticipate walking in wet conditions to protect the finish.
Consider removing the factory-provided insoles to gain slightly more internal volume, or ensure you are using thin, moisture-wicking socks.
Check the teeth of the zipper for debris or dirt; gently run a pencil lead over the teeth to act as a lubricant if the zipper feels stiff.
Use a color-matched leather polish or a neutral leather conditioner to buff out superficial scuffs and restore the finish.
For the initial setup, ensure you test the fit with the specific type of socks you intend to wear regularly, as this can influence the feeling of the D-width fitting. If you use custom orthotics, simply lift out the existing factory insoles and replace them with your own. To maintain the condition of your boots, wipe them down with a soft, dry cloth after each use to remove dust. If the boots become wet, allow them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources to prevent the leather from cracking. Periodically apply a high-quality leather cream or conditioning balm to keep the material supple and maintain the vibrant red color.
