The Salengro is designed as a lightweight, weather-resistant quilted layer, but it is not intended to be a fully waterproof raincoat.
The jacket follows standard sizing. If you plan on wearing thick layers underneath, you may prefer to size up, but it is designed for a sleek fit.
Yes, it is generally machine washable on a delicate cycle, but always verify the care label for the most accurate guidance for your specific garment.
It is perfect for transitional weather, such as cool spring days or mild autumn temperatures.
The jacket features the signature Barbour International branding, typically located on the sleeve or chest area depending on the specific seasonal design.
Carefully trim any loose threads with small fabric scissors. Do not pull them, as this can cause the stitching to unravel further.
Ensure the garment is stored properly and not compressed tightly for long periods, which can flatten the insulating fibers.
To ensure your jacket remains in top condition, always follow the specific care instructions provided on the internal garment label. Generally, quilted items should be washed on a gentle cycle with mild detergent to protect the internal quilting patterns. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can degrade the synthetic fibers. When storing the jacket, hang it on a shaped hanger to maintain the structure of the shoulders and ensure it is kept in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
