Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your jacket continues to perform as expected, proper care is essential. Always consult the care label inside the garment before washing. It is recommended to use a technical cleaner specifically designed for waterproof membranes rather than standard detergent, as standard soap can strip the durable water repellent (DWR) coating. Avoid using fabric softeners, as these will degrade the breathable performance. After washing, low-heat tumble drying can often help to reactivate the water-repellent finish on the outer fabric. Store the jacket in a cool, dry place and ensure it is completely dry before packing it away for long periods.
