Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Unroll the Rug: Carefully unroll the Serenity Rug in your chosen location. Allow it to relax and settle for a few hours.
- Address Creases: If the rug has temporary creases from packaging, try rolling it tightly in the opposite direction or place heavy, flat objects (like books) on the corners and along the creases for 1-2 days to help it flatten.
- Optimal Placement: Position the rug in an area where its metallic sheen can interact with available light sources to maximize its unique visual effect. Ensure it does not impede door swings.
Compatibility
The Serenity Rug's grey abstract design is highly versatile and compatible with a broad spectrum of interior decor styles, including modern, contemporary, industrial, and even some transitional settings. It is well-suited for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining areas, seamlessly integrating with existing furnishings.
Care
- General Cleaning: For routine maintenance, use a vacuum cleaner without a beater bar, or with the beater bar disengaged, to prevent damage to the rug's pile. Regular vacuuming helps maintain its clean appearance and non-shedding quality.
- Surface Spot Cleaning: For minor spills or surface marks, immediately use a clean wet wipe or a damp cloth moistened with plain water. Gently blot the affected area, working from the outside edge of the stain inwards to prevent spreading. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
- Chemical Avoidance: DO NOT use any chemical cleaning agents, detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners. These substances can severely damage the rug's fibers, alter its color, or compromise its distinctive metallic sheen.
- Environmental Protection: To preserve the rug's color integrity and material quality, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and keep it away from intense heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces, or heating vents.
