Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing, but the adjustable lace-up front provides flexibility for different foot widths.
The zip is primarily decorative; you should use the laces to loosen the boot for easy entry and exit.
The block heel is 4.5cm high, providing a comfortable lift.
While the leather offers some natural protection, it is not fully waterproof. Using a leather-safe repellent spray is recommended for rainy conditions.
Yes, the Rieker Glaisdale model features a high-quality leather upper.
Yes, if you require orthotics, the factory insoles can typically be removed to accommodate custom inserts.
Loosen the laces starting from the bottom eyelets upward to provide more room, then re-tie for a comfortable, secure tension.
Apply a high-quality leather conditioner or cream, buffing gently with a soft cloth to restore the natural luster.
Ensure the laces are threaded properly; if they frequently come undone, consider a double-knot or replacing with slightly textured round laces.
To ensure the longevity of your Rieker Glaisdale boots, proper care is essential. Upon first wear, ensure the laces are adjusted to your specific foot volume; the decorative zip is intended for aesthetic purposes and should not be relied upon as the primary method for entry. We recommend treating the leather with a protective waterproofing spray suitable for natural leather to guard against moisture and stains. Clean the surface regularly using a soft, damp cloth and apply a neutral leather cream periodically to keep the material supple and prevent cracking. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the leather.
