No, the Rieker Glaisdale boots come with fixed, non-removable insoles.
The heel height is 4.5cm, which is designed for comfort and stability.
While made of durable leather, they are not strictly waterproof. It is recommended to use a leather-appropriate waterproofing spray for extra protection.
No, the zip is a faux design element intended for aesthetic purposes; the laces provide the primary closure.
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently remove any debris. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they can damage the velour texture.
The boots are built to a standard width fitting, so they may be snug for those requiring extra-wide footwear.
Leather requires a brief 'breaking-in' period; wear them for short durations indoors to allow the material to soften and conform to your foot shape.
Use a matching leather cream or polish to buff out minor surface abrasions and restore the original sheen.
To ensure your Rieker Glaisdale boots maintain their appearance, apply a high-quality leather conditioner regularly. If the boots become wet, air-dry them naturally away from direct heat sources like radiators to prevent the leather from cracking. Given the standard width, they are highly compatible with slim or straight-leg denim and work-appropriate trousers. Ensure the laces are securely tied to prevent tripping; the faux zip is decorative and does not require adjustment.
