No, this product is designed strictly for indoor use to maintain the integrity of the woodgrain-effect finish.
This handrail comes with a 10-year structural warranty, ensuring long-term reliability.
The steel core is rigid and designed for straight runs; it cannot be bent to accommodate curved walls.
No, it is a high-quality woodgrain-effect finish applied to a steel core, providing the look of silver ash without the maintenance requirements of real wood.
The kit includes the coordinating brushed silver fittings. You should ensure the screws you use are appropriate for your specific wall surface material.
The handrail has a diameter of 40mm, providing a comfortable and secure grip.
Check that the mounting brackets are tightened securely to the wall anchors and verify that the screws connecting the bracket to the rail are fully seated.
Use a fresh hacksaw blade with fine teeth or a metal-cutting blade on a jigsaw. Wrap masking tape around the cut point to prevent the finish from chipping.
Installation is designed for a competent DIYer. First, locate the studs or use appropriate wall anchors for your specific wall type (brick, plasterboard, or timber). Ensure the brackets are level before drilling pilot holes to avoid instability.
Compatibility: The 1.2m length is ideal for short stair runs or as a safety rail for loft ladder access. If your staircase is longer, you may need to combine multiple kits or purchase a longer variant.
Care: Due to the high-quality synthetic woodgrain finish, you do not need to treat the rail with oil or wax. Simply wipe the rail down with a soft, damp cloth and a mild detergent to keep it looking clean and free of dust. Avoid using abrasive scouring pads that could scratch the finish.
