Setup, Compatibility & Care
Installation requires a standard power drill, measuring tape, and a level to ensure the rail is perfectly horizontal or parallel to your stairs. Before securing the mounts, verify your wall structure is suitable for heavy-duty mounting. If you need to shorten the rail, use a hacksaw suitable for metal cutting, ensuring you file down any sharp edges afterward for safety. To maintain the appearance of your beige wood-effect finish, wipe the rail down with a soft, damp cloth periodically. Avoid using harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive scouring pads, as these can dull the finish and expose the steel core to moisture.
