Setup, Compatibility & Care
Getting Started:
To optimize the fit of your Trespass Damon Wellies, adjust the buckle strap located on the side. This allows you to tighten or loosen the gusset around your calf for comfort and to prevent water from entering from the top. Try them on with the type of socks you typically wear to ensure the best fit.
Compatibility:
These wellies feature a removable insole, making them compatible with most standard and orthopedic insoles. If you require specialized foot support, simply remove the factory insole and insert your preferred orthopedic pair. Ensure the replacement insole fits snugly without bunching.
Care and Maintenance:
To ensure the longevity and performance of your Trespass Damon Wellies:
- Cleaning: After use, especially in muddy conditions, rinse your wellies with clean water to remove dirt and debris. For more stubborn grime, wipe them down with a damp cloth and a mild soap solution. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Drying: Allow the wellies to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not expose them to direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight for prolonged periods, as this can cause the rubber to crack or degrade.
- Storage: Store your wellies upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Storing them folded or crumpled can lead to creasing and potential damage to the rubber. Consider using a boot stand to help maintain their shape.
- Inspection: Periodically inspect the rubber for any signs of cracking or punctures, especially around flex points. Small cracks can sometimes be repaired with specific rubber repair kits.
