FAQs

What material are the shorts made from?

The shorts are crafted from high-quality, lightweight polyester designed for durability and breathability.

Do these shorts have pockets?

No, these shorts are designed with a performance-first approach, prioritizing a lightweight, streamlined profile for athletic use.

Are these shorts suitable for machine washing?

Yes, they are machine washable, though it is recommended to wash them inside out on a cool cycle to protect the crest.

How do I choose the correct size?

The shorts are available in generic sizing (S to XXXXXL). It is recommended to select your standard size, keeping in mind the adjustable waistband allows for some customization.

Can I use these for swimming?

While the material is synthetic, these are designed as athletic kit, not swimwear; the internal lining is for support rather than chlorine resistance.

Troubleshooting

Drawcord pulled into the waistband

Use a safety pin attached to the end of the cord to carefully feed it back through the eyelet channel.

Fabric snagging

Avoid contact with sharp surfaces; if a small snag occurs, use a fabric shaver to gently remove pilling or loose threads.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your Rangers 2026/27 Third Shorts last through many seasons, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Turn the shorts inside out before placing them in the washing machine to protect the exterior crest and fabric finish.
Temperature: Wash on a cool or lukewarm cycle (30-40 degrees Celsius) with similar colours.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible. Avoid high-heat tumble drying, as this can degrade the synthetic polyester fibres and affect the elasticity of the waistband.
Ironing: Use a cool iron if necessary, but avoid applying direct heat to the crest or logos to prevent melting or warping.
