Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
- Lacing: Before your first use and subsequent matches, ensure the boots are laced securely. The lace closure allows for a personalized fit. Adjust the laces to be snug around your foot without being overly tight, providing a secure lockdown and comfort.
- Break-In Period: Like most new football boots, a short break-in period (1-2 training sessions) is recommended to allow the materials to conform to your foot shape for optimal comfort and performance.
Compatibility
- These boots are specifically designed for Firm Ground (FG) surfaces. This means they are ideal for natural grass pitches that are dry or slightly damp.
- Avoid using on Artificial Grass (AG) or Soft Ground (SG): Using FG boots on artificial turf can cause excessive wear to the studs and may void warranty, while on soft, muddy ground, they may not provide adequate traction and stability.
Care
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your adidas Predator 24 Pro boots, follow these care instructions:
- Clean After Each Use: Immediately after playing, gently brush off loose dirt and mud from the upper and sole with a soft brush or cloth.
- Wipe Down: Use a damp cloth with mild soap (if necessary) to wipe down the entire boot. Avoid harsh detergents or abrasive materials.
- Drying: Allow the boots to air dry naturally at room temperature. Do not place them in direct sunlight, near heaters, or in a tumble dryer, as this can damage the materials and adhesives.
- Storage: Store the boots in a cool, dry place. Using boot trees can help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Submerging: Do not submerge the boots in water or machine wash them.
