FAQs
Are these sandals suitable for wide feet?
The Teva Tirra Sport sandals feature adjustable straps, which allows for a customizable fit and can accommodate a range of foot widths.
Can I wear these for long hikes?
Yes, they are designed for hiking and offer good arch support and cushioning, making them suitable for moderate to long hikes. For very technical or strenuous multi-day treks, dedicated hiking boots might be more appropriate.
How do I clean mud off the sandals?
Rinse with cool water to remove loose mud. Use a mild soap and a soft brush to gently scrub away remaining dirt, then rinse again and air dry.
What is the main difference between this model and older Tirra sandals?
This model features an updated outsole lug pattern for increased traction and added foam in the midsole for improved underfoot comfort, while maintaining the original aesthetic.
Are these sandals waterproof?
The materials are quick-drying, making them suitable for use around water. However, they are not fully waterproof and water can enter the sandal.
What is the return policy if they don't fit?
Please refer to the retailer's specific return policy for details on exchanges and returns due to sizing issues.
Troubleshooting
Slipping or poor traction
Ensure the outsole is clean and free from mud or debris. Check that the straps are securely fastened to provide stability.
Discomfort or rubbing
Adjust the straps for a better fit. If new, allow for a break-in period. Ensure no debris is caught under the straps or in the footbed.
Sandals not drying quickly
After use in water, shake out excess water and allow to air dry in a well-ventilated area away from direct heat.
