Full details
The New Balance 530 trainers are designed for adult women who prioritize a blend of iconic heritage style and long-lasting daily comfort. These trainers deliver a supportive fit thanks to their signature Abzorb midsole technology, making them an excellent choice for casual wear and walking; however, users should note that they feature a chunky silhouette which may not suit those looking for a minimalist or low-profile aesthetic.

FAQs
Are these shoes suitable for running?
While based on heritage running designs, the 530 is primarily marketed as a lifestyle sneaker for casual wear rather than specialized athletic running.
How should I clean the leather parts?
Use a damp cloth and a mild leather cleaner if necessary. Avoid using harsh chemicals that could strip the finish.
Are the New Balance 530s true to size?
Most users find that these trainers fit true to size, though it is recommended to reference your standard UK shoe size.
Can I put these in the washing machine?
No, machine washing can damage the adhesive and the structural materials of the shoe. Hand cleaning is recommended.
What is the Abzorb midsole used for?
Abzorb is a proprietary foam technology used to maximize shock absorption and cushion impacts during walking.
Do these provide arch support?
The shoes offer a standard athletic fit with moderate support suitable for daily activity, though they are not marketed as medical orthopaedic footwear.
Troubleshooting
Visible dirt on mesh upper
Use a soft dry brush to gently loosen dirt, then wipe with a lightly dampened cloth.
Insole feels worn down
The included insoles are removable; consider replacing them with aftermarket orthotics if you require more specific arch support.

Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your New Balance 530 trainers maintain their condition, follow these guidelines:
- Fit: These trainers are sized for adults; ensure you verify your UK foot size for the optimal fit.
- Cleaning: Wipe the leather overlays with a soft, damp cloth. Use a mild soap for stubborn spots, avoiding submersion in water.
- Mesh Care: Gently brush the mesh sections with a soft-bristle brush to remove dust and debris.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent material degradation or colour fading.
- Maintenance: Do not machine wash or tumble dry, as this can damage the structural integrity of the Abzorb foam and leather components.
