The Jones Bootmaker Kaiya boots are designed for adults seeking a durable yet stylish footwear option for colder weather. These chunky Chelsea boots provide excellent warmth and reliable traction through their rugged outsoles, making them an ideal choice for winter commuting or casual outings. While they offer a practical and elevated aesthetic, users should note that the leather construction requires consistent care to maintain its appearance and water resistance in harsh conditions.

The Kaiya boots are made from high-quality leather, which provides good water resistance, but they are not fully waterproof. We recommend applying a leather protector spray.
Use a soft, slightly damp cloth to wipe away surface dirt, followed by a dedicated leather conditioner to keep the material supple.
Yes, they generally follow standard UK sizing, though the thick lining may make them feel slightly more snug than non-lined boots.
The internal lining is integrated into the construction of the boot for warmth, so the insoles are generally fixed.
Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and use boot trees if possible to help the leather maintain its shape.
Leather requires a break-in period; wear them for short durations indoors to allow the material to soften and conform to your foot shape.
Use a shoehorn to help guide your heel into the boot without overstretching the elastic panels.
To ensure your Kaiya boots remain in top condition, we recommend a simple care routine. Since they are crafted from real leather, it is essential to treat them with a high-quality leather protector before the first wear to guard against moisture and salt. If the boots become muddy, wipe them clean with a soft, damp cloth and allow them to air dry away from direct heat sources, such as radiators, which can cause the leather to crack. Keep the elastic gussets free of grit to ensure they maintain their elasticity over time.
