The Jones Bootmaker Kaiya Boots are designed for adults seeking a blend of seasonal warmth and contemporary edge in their footwear. These chunky Chelsea boots provide excellent utility for colder months thanks to their durable leather construction, insulating warm linings, and a rugged, grippy outsole. While they offer superior comfort and easy on-off wear, users should note that the chunky design is specifically tailored for winter conditions and may feel heavier than traditional lighter-weight fashion boots.

While they are crafted from durable leather which offers natural water resistance, they are not fully waterproof. We recommend applying a leather protector spray for better performance in heavy rain.
The Kaiya boots generally fit true to UK sizing. If you plan to wear thick winter socks, some users prefer to account for that in their size choice.
Wipe the outsole with a damp cloth or a soft-bristled brush to remove mud and debris from the treads.
The insoles are designed for the standard fit of the boot. If you require custom orthotics, ensure they fit within the boot volume without crowding the foot.
The lining is designed to prioritize warmth, which is ideal for cold winter days, though it may be too warm for prolonged use during spring or summer.
Wear the boots for short periods inside the house with thick socks to naturally soften the leather.
Use a shoehorn to help slide your heel past the elasticated gusset without stretching the fabric excessively.
Use a matching black leather cream or polish to buff out minor surface scuffs and restore the original finish.
These boots require no break-in period beyond standard leather wear. To ensure the longevity of your Kaiya Boots, clean the leather upper regularly with a dry cloth and apply a leather conditioner to prevent cracking. Given the natural leather material, it is recommended to use a protective spray before your first wear to improve water resistance. Store them in a cool, dry place away from direct heat sources to maintain the integrity of the elastic gussets and the sole bonding.
