While hand washing is recommended to preserve the integrity of the glue and rubber, some parents choose to use a gentle cycle with a laundry bag; however, air drying is mandatory.
Generally, Converse trainers tend to run slightly large. It is recommended to check your child's current foot measurement against the size guide.
These are casual lifestyle trainers. While they are great for daily play, they may not offer the technical support required for high-intensity competitive sports.
Avoid leaving them in direct sunlight for extended periods, as this can cause the black dye to fade over time.
The insoles are typically fixed. If you need to use orthotics, consult a professional to see if the current insole can be safely removed without damaging the shoe.
Teach a double-knot technique or replace with elastic laces if the child struggles with tying.
Use a soft-bristled brush or a damp cloth with mild detergent to gently scrub the fabric.
Use a magic eraser or a mixture of baking soda and water to gently buff the rubber edges back to white.
Getting the right fit is crucial for kids' footwear. Ensure the laces are adjusted properly to allow for blood circulation while keeping the shoe securely attached. To maintain the black finish, wipe away surface dirt with a damp cloth after each use. For a deeper clean, remove the laces and hand wash the canvas with mild soap, allowing them to air dry naturally away from direct heat sources, which can warp the rubber components.
