Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your DC Shoes last as long as possible, proper care is essential. Since the upper is constructed from leather and textile, avoid machine washing these trainers, as water can damage the materials and adhesive.
- Cleaning: Use a soft-bristled brush to remove dry dirt from the nubuck and leather areas. For deeper stains, use a mild leather cleaner specifically designed for nubuck products.
- Drying: Always air dry at room temperature away from direct heat sources like radiators, which can cause the leather to crack.
- Protection: Apply a protective water-repellent spray suitable for leather and fabric to keep the material looking fresh and resistant to minor spills.
- Storage: Keep your shoes in a cool, dry place and use shoe trees or paper stuffing to maintain the shape of the high-top collar when not in use.
