Setup, Compatibility & Care
To ensure your DC Shoes last as long as possible, follow these guidelines:
- Breaking In: New leather shoes can be stiff. Wear them for short durations indoors for the first few days to allow the foam padding to contour to your foot shape.
- Cleaning: Use a specialized leather cleaner or a soft, damp cloth for the upper. Avoid machine washing or drying, as this can degrade the leather and adhesive components.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme heat sources, which can cause the leather to crack or the glue to weaken.
- Lacing: Adjust the laces to your desired tension. Utilizing the top eyelets is recommended if you require maximum ankle stability.
