Product Information

Full details

The Trespass Ribes Fleece is designed for women seeking a blend of comfort and utility during casual outings or relaxing at home. Its primary benefit is the Airtrap technology, which efficiently retains body heat to keep you warm on chilly days. A key caveat is that while it is perfect for everyday layering, it is constructed from a lightweight 200gsm knit and may not provide sufficient protection as a standalone piece in severe, wet winter weather conditions.

FAQs

Is the Ribes fleece waterproof?

No, the fleece is designed for warmth and insulation, not as a waterproof garment.

What does 200gsm mean?

It refers to the weight of the fabric (200 grams per square meter), indicating a medium-weight fleece that is perfect for layering.

Can I wear this while exercising?

Yes, it is suitable for light activities, and the 1/2 zip helps manage temperature during movement.

How should I store the fleece?

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain the integrity of the polyester fibers.

Is this fleece true to size?

This model is an XS; it is recommended to check the brand's standard size chart for exact measurements.

Troubleshooting

Fabric surface showing light pilling after frequent wear

Use a fabric shaver or lint remover gently to restore the surface of the textured knit.

Zipper feels slightly stiff

Ensure the zipper track is clean and free of lint or fabric fibers; a small amount of paraffin wax can be applied to smooth the movement.

Setup, Compatibility & Care

This fleece does not require any setup; it is ready to wear immediately. To ensure the longevity of the garment, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with like colors in cool water.
Drying: Air dry whenever possible to prevent shrinkage or damage to the synthetic fibers. If using a dryer, select the lowest heat setting.
Ironing: Avoid ironing directly on the embroidered logo or badge areas.
Compatibility: It works exceptionally well under a waterproof shell jacket for a complete weather-ready layering system.
