FAQs

What material is the sweater made of?

The C.P. Company Full Rib Crew features a high-quality knit composition designed for durability and comfort.

Is this machine washable?

It is strongly recommended to hand wash this garment to protect the integrity of the full rib knit texture.

How should I store this sweater?

Always store the sweater folded flat. Hanging can cause the weight of the knit to pull the shoulders and stretch the fabric.

Does it run true to size?

Yes, it is designed for a standard adult fit; however, consider your preferred layering style when choosing between sizes.

Can I wear this under a blazer?

Yes, the crew neckline and refined rib texture make it an excellent choice for layering under structured jackets or blazers.

Troubleshooting

Visible pilling on the surface of the knit

Gently use a fabric shaver or a sweater comb to remove pilling, taking care not to pull on the rib structure.

Garment losing shape

If the sweater has stretched, soak it briefly in cool water, lay it flat on a towel, and gently reshape it to its original dimensions while damp.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Sophisticated, textured full rib design
Versatile colorway suitable for diverse wardrobes
High-quality construction and craftsmanship
Comfortable fit for everyday wear

Cons

Requires delicate care to prevent snagging
Full rib knit may lose shape if hung improperly

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To ensure your sweater remains in top condition, follow these care guidelines:

Washing: Hand wash cold using a mild detergent specifically formulated for delicate wool or knitwear. Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach.
Drying: Never wring the sweater. Lay it flat on a clean towel in a shaded area to air dry, as hanging may cause the knit to stretch and lose its structured shape.
Storage: Store the garment folded in a drawer rather than on a hanger to prevent shoulder bumps and tension on the knit structure.
Compatibility: The garment fits true to standard adult sizing. Refer to the specific size guide (S-XXL) to ensure the desired silhouette, as the rib knit naturally offers a slight stretch.
