The Moab Speed 2 GORE-TEX® generally follows standard sizing. If you have particularly wide feet, it's recommended to try them on if possible or look for specific wide-fit versions if available, though this particular model is listed as a standard fit.

Use a stiff brush to remove dry mud. For tougher grime, use water and a mild soap with a brush, then rinse thoroughly. Allow to air dry.

The Moab Speed 2 features an improved traction design with Vibram TC5+ rubber, a 30% increase in FloatPro™ Foam cushioning underfoot, and enhanced breathability compared to its predecessor.

While they offer cushioning and are lightweight, they are primarily designed for hiking. For marathon running, a shoe specifically engineered for that purpose with advanced cushioning and energy return would be more appropriate.

The GORE-TEX® membrane is highly durable and designed for long-lasting waterproofness when properly cared for. Avoid punctures and harsh chemical treatments.

The shoe provides a secure fit with a heel counter and midsole cushioning. While supportive for hiking, individuals requiring significant arch support may benefit from using custom or off-the-shelf insoles.

For best performance with GORE-TEX® footwear, wear moisture-wicking synthetic or wool blend socks. Avoid cotton socks, as they tend to hold moisture and can lead to discomfort and blisters.

Ensure the shoe is properly laced and the bellows tongue is free of debris to prevent water ingress. Check for any visible tears or damage to the GORE-TEX® membrane. Excessive sweat can also contribute to dampness; ensure socks are moisture-wicking.

While Vibram® TC5+ offers excellent grip, extremely slick surfaces can still pose a challenge. Ensure the lugs are clear of mud or debris. Consider your stride and weight distribution on precarious terrain.

The shoe may require a break-in period. Wear them for shorter walks initially to allow the materials to conform to your foot shape. Ensure laces are adjusted correctly and not too tight or loose.

Ensure the bellows tongue is properly positioned and free from obstruction. Lace the shoes snugly to create a tighter seal around the ankle.
