Full details

The Ultralite 100 Bivvy Skull Cap is a dedicated accessory designed for serious anglers who use the Ultralite 100 Aquatexx EV 1.0 shelter system. It serves to transform a single-skin shelter into a high-performance twin-skin setup, effectively eliminating condensation and providing an extra shield against driving rain and wind. While it offers significant comfort upgrades and protection, users should note it is specifically engineered for this model and is not a universal fit for all bivvies.

Troubleshooting

The skull cap feels loose or sags

Adjust the tensioning straps or anchor points to ensure the fabric is pulled tightly over the frame.

Condensation is still forming inside

Ensure that both the rear vents of the cap and the shelter are open to allow for proper air circulation.

Difficulty fitting over the bivvy

Setup, Compatibility & Care

To install, drape the skull cap over the top of your existing Ultralite 100 Aquatexx EV 1.0 frame and secure the tensioning points according to the base unit's attachment clips. Always ensure the material is pulled taut to allow water to run off effectively. This product is strictly compatible with the Aquatexx EV 1.0 version. For care, always allow the material to dry completely before storing it in the provided drawstring carrybag to prevent mildew, and use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning any mud or debris.
