Setup, Compatibility & Care
Setup
Getting started with your adidas Samba trainers is simple:
- Unboxing: Remove the trainers from their packaging.
- Lacing: Ensure the laces are threaded through all eyelets and tied securely to provide a snug, comfortable fit. Adjust lacing tension to preference.
- Wearing: Slip your foot into the trainer. For optimal comfort and fit, wear them with athletic socks.
Compatibility
- Surfaces: Primarily designed for indoor surfaces such as gym floors, indoor courts, and smooth hard surfaces. The `NON MARKING` outsole prevents scuffs.
- Activities: Ideal for indoor soccer, basketball, general gym use, and casual wear.
- Age Group: This specific UK 6 size is suited for children/juniors. (Other adult sizes are available separately).
Care
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your Samba trainers:
- Cleaning the Leather/Suede Upper: Gently wipe dirt and dust with a soft, damp cloth. For tougher marks on leather, use a mild leather cleaner. For suede areas, use a soft brush designed for suede to gently remove dirt, and a suede eraser for marks. Always test cleaning products on an inconspicuous area first.
- Outsole Cleaning: Use a damp cloth or soft brush to clean the rubber outsole, removing any accumulated dirt that might affect grip.
- Drying: Allow trainers to air dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid direct heat sources like radiators or direct sunlight, which can damage the materials.
- Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Consider using shoe trees or stuffing with paper to help maintain their shape.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use strong detergents, bleach, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the leather, suede, and rubber.
